Let's not hijack this thread, but you don't seem to have understood what I said in my post. It has been published by MS numerous times over the years, and is no secret. Because, Win10 will eventually roll into SaaS model. They are more interested in moving people over than charging them for the privilege. But, MS has been allowing activation using Win 7 and Win 8/8.1 keys the whole time. There have been numerous discussions of this on Spiceworks, and it's been repeatedly shown that, although it works, it's not a legal license. It will work, but that doesn't mean it's legitimate. Voila: A proper digital license of Windows 10, fully legit. Skip the product key pages during installation, then go into Settings > About (or wherever it is) and provide the Win 7 OEM key.
